- A woman reported that while walking near the 7000 block of Bent Branch Drive she was attacked, sexually assaulted and dragged toward the bayou before she fought free and flagged down deputies for help on Monday evening.
- The victim was triaged at a nearby hospital after escaping and giving deputies details used to canvass the area and search for a suspect.
- Deputies located 19-year-old Jacoby Fuselier after following bike tracks and neighborhood video, and he fled on a bicycle before resisting arrest and being tased and taken into custody.
- Officials have charged Fuselier with evading and resisting arrest and said they will submit the case to the Harris County district attorney to consider assault and sexual-assault charges; investigators also reported he had the victim’s cellphone when arrested.
