17-Year-Old Charged in Joliet Apartment Stabbing That Left Teen Critical

• A 17-year-old boy was charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm in a Joliet stabbing, police said.
• Police, who responded just before 1 p.m. Sunday to Riverwalk Homes Apartments at 366 N. Broadway, found a 17-year-old with a serious stab wound on the fifth floor.
• The Joliet Fire Department took the victim to St. Joseph Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
• Officers recovered a knife at the scene, and the teen who was charged was processed at the Joliet Police Department before being taken to the River Valley Justice Center.
