17-Year-Old Alfie Sivills Dies After Saltburn Lane Crash

Police have appealed for witnesses and any CCTV or dashcam footage to help establish how the collision happened.

  • A black Ford Fiesta and a silver Toyota Corolla collided on Saltburn Lane, between Saltburn and Skelton, in a crash that occurred on Saturday, June 6.
  • Cleveland Police confirmed that 17-year-old Alfie Sivills died in hospital on the evening of Monday, June 8 and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.
  • Six people were taken to hospital after the collision and four remain under treatment, including a 17-year-old passenger in critical condition, a 15-year-old with a broken leg, and two occupants of the Toyota who are still receiving care.
