Overview
- A Metro-North train traveling from Danbury to South Norwalk struck a 16-year-old on a bridge overpass south of Merritt 7 Station Wednesday night, and the teen was pronounced dead at Norwalk Hospital about an hour later.
- A preliminary probe found three people not authorized to be on the tracks at the site and MTAPD officers detained two males, ages 17 and 20, who were charged with trespassing.
