Overview
- Police were called to a stabbing on Dudden Hill Lane in Dollis Hill at 22:36 on Saturday 30 May and paramedics took a 15-year-old to hospital where he died on Thursday 4 June.
- The victim has been named by the Met as Jamal Ringrose and his next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
- A 15-year-old has been charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon and appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court while a 16-year-old remains in custody and an 18-year-old has been released on bail.
- Detective Inspector Simon Ager said detectives are pursuing several lines of inquiry and asked anyone with information or dashcam or mobile phone footage from the street at the time to contact police.
- Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams said a Section 60 stop-and-search order was deployed after the incident and has since been withdrawn, and that officers will keep an enhanced presence to reassure the local community.
