- Hampshire police said the case was reported to them at 1.35pm on Wednesday 24 June and a multi-agency search was launched to find the 15-year-old.
- Marine units, the National Police Air Service, South Central Ambulance Service, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue, search-and-rescue volunteers and drones have been deployed to search the water and shoreline.
- Testwood Lakes Nature Reserve has been cordoned off and closed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, with the public urged to avoid the area while searches continue.
