An NYPD probe is underway after police say an evasive move to avoid a driver-side door sent the passenger beneath a passing truck.

The scooter, driven by another 13-year-old boy, was heading south on 162nd Street near 45th Avenue in Flushing around 12:40 p.m. when another motorist stepped out of a parked car, police said.
Horrific video captured the moment a 13-year-old boy riding on the back of a motorized scooter in Queens was killed after his teen pal plowed into an open car door – hurling both boys beneath a passing truck.
