Overview
- The Employee Selection Board cancelled the candidature of 12 test-takers and filed a cheating complaint through principal system analyst Pranit Sijaria at Bhopal’s MP Nagar Police Station.
- The investigation has been transferred to Ratlam district police because the alleged irregularities occurred at a Ratlam exam centre in September 2025.
- Time-based analysis flagged “High Strike Rate” anomalies in which candidates rapidly scrolled the paper, stayed inactive, then posted an unusual burst of correct responses near the end.
- CCTV review and an internal probe indicated the 12 had their computer monitors replaced minutes before lab entry and appeared to receive help, possibly from a common individual.
- The ESB’s report outlined suspected methods that include screen manipulation, external answer relay or insider facilitation; nine accused are from Bhind and Morena, two from Haryana and one from Agra.
