Overview
- Police arrested an 11-year-old in the Derry investigation into recent disorder at Nailors Row, then released him on bail.
- Two other boys are already in the case, with a 13-year-old bailed on suspicion of riotous behaviour and a 14-year-old still in custody.
- Officers said a group of masked youths gathered at about 5:30pm on Tuesday in Bishop Street, where fireworks were set off and petrol bombs, bottles and masonry hit police vehicles.
- Bishop Street was closed for a time to manage the unrest, which police say caused fear and disruption for nearby residents.
- PSNI is seeking dash-cam or CCTV footage to identify others, asking witnesses to quote reference 1383 of 05/05/26 when contacting 101 or filing online.
