10 Missing Tribal Children From Jharkhand Found Safe in Bihar, Returned Home
Police traced them to a Gaya child home following a wrong-train journey.

- Koderma SP Anudeep Singh said all ten were located on Saturday at a child home in Gaya and returned after guardians confirmed identities via video calls.
- The group, aged roughly 5 to 14 and including six girls, belongs to a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group in Gadiyahi Birhor Tola, Khariyodih panchayat.
- They became separated after a shraddh at Parsabad on January 31, boarded a train, missed their stop, reached Gaya, and were rescued there by police on February 2 before being placed with the Child Welfare Committee.
- An FIR was filed at Jainagar police station on February 6, and Koderma Police formed an SIT led by DSP Rati Bhan Singh while announcing a Rs 1 lakh reward for information.
- Investigators are reviewing CCTV from Parsabad and nearby stations, and officials report no criminal angle in the case.
