Overview
- A 1-year-old boy left alone in a parked vehicle was found unresponsive on Saturday and was pronounced dead after being taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Hospital.
- The child's father, 47-year-old Kevin Pell, told investigators he left the boy in the car while he was working and said the child had fallen asleep and the vehicle’s air conditioning was on.

- Pell was arrested and charged with risking the injury of a minor and is being held on a $1 million bond.
